How do I borrow an item through OhioLINK?

Answer

  1. Search the library catalog first to see if any Cleveland Clinic library owns the title
  2. If not, click the OhioLINK button on the search results page 
  3. Search repeats in the OhioLINK catalog and displays matching titles
  4. Click the title you want to borrow and check that status = AVAILABLE under Library Holdings
  5. Click "Request" 
  6. Select "Cleveland Clinic" under school/institution
  7. Type your name, employee #, PIN 
  8. Choose your Pickup Location (Main Campus, Fairview, Hillcrest, or South Pointe)
  9. Click "Submit"
  10. Message displays that your request has been successful 
  11. You will receive an email/text when the item is ready for pick up
