How do I borrow an item through SearchOhio?

Answer

  1. Search the library catalog first to see if any Cleveland Clinic library owns the title
  2. If the Library doesn't own the title, click the OhioLINK button on the search results page 
  3. Search repeats in the OhioLINK catalog and displays matching titles
  4. If the item is not available through OhioLINK, click the SearchOhio button
     
  5. Click the title and check that the status = AVAILABLE under Library Holdings
  6. Click "Request" 
  7. Select "Cleveland Clinic" under school/institution
  8. Type your name, employee #, PIN and click "Submit"
  9. Message displays that your request has been successful and the name of the library sending the item
  10. You will receive an email/text when the item is ready for pick up
